Getting Started
Sticks Diagnostics and Healthcare Training Center is an authorized training institution under the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (GNPEC). To ensure student success and compliance, all applicants for our certificate programs must meet the following general requirements:
Age Requirement: Must be 17 years of age or older.
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required for core certificate programs.
Identification: Government-issued photo ID and Social Security Card.
Health & Safety: Background checks, drug screenings, or immunization records may be required depending on your specific clinical program (e.g., Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant clinical rotations).

How long are your programs?
Phlebotomy Technician: 4 weeks.
EKG Technician: 3 weeks.
Medical Assistant: 12 weeks.
Medical Billing & Coding: 8 weeks.
When does the next class start?
We enroll students for upcoming cohorts throughout the year. Class schedules and availability vary by program. Schedule an enrollment appointment to learn about upcoming classes and available seats.
Are classes online or in person?
Our Phlebotomy, EKG, and Medical Assistant programs include in-person, hands-on instruction. Medical Billing & Coding follows a hybrid format.
Certification & Career Preparation
Will I receive a certificate when I graduate?
Yes. Students who successfully complete their program receive a certificate of completion from Sticks Diagnostics & Healthcare Training Center. National certification is a separate credential.
Do you partner with NHA and NCCT?
Yes! We partner with the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Applicable certification pathways depend on the program and the certifying organization's eligibility requirements.
Is the national certification exam included in tuition?
No. National certification exam fees are separate from tuition. Our enrollment team will explain the applicable exam fees and certification process.
Will hospitals accept my certification?
Each employer establishes its own hiring and credential requirements. We recommend confirming the specific certification requirements directly with the employer.
Do you guarantee employment after graduation?
No. We provide career-focused education and certification preparation, but employment is not guaranteed. Hiring decisions are made by individual employers.
Tuition & Payment Options
How much does healthcare training cost?
Tuition varies by program and available promotions. Our enrollment team will provide a complete breakdown of tuition, administrative fees, books, materials, and certification exam fees.
Do you offer payment plans?
In-house payment arrangements may be available upon approval. Eligible students may also use Afterpay or PayPal Pay in 4.
When is tuition due?
Full tuition is generally due 10 days before class begins, unless an alternative payment arrangement has been approved in writing.
Are books and materials included?
Books and materials fees are separate from tuition unless a specific promotion states otherwise. Your enrollment representative will explain what is included in your program.

How do I enroll?
Schedule an enrollment appointment with our team. We will review your program of interest, admission requirements, tuition, and next steps.
Can I enroll in more than one program?
Yes! Students may enroll in different programs at separate times, provided they meet each program's admission requirements.
Do you offer evening classes?
Yes. Evening schedules are available for select programs. Class schedules vary by program and cohort.
Diagnostic & Occupational Health Services
Do you offer drug testing?
Yes. We provide DOT and non-DOT drug testing options, including urine, oral fluid, and hair testing, depending on the requested service.
Do you offer fingerprinting?
Yes. We offer IdentoGO Live Scan fingerprinting and FD-258 ink fingerprint cards. Appointment requirements may vary by service.
Do you offer TB testing?
Yes. We offer QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus blood testing and PPD skin testing. PPD testing requires a return visit for reading within the appropriate timeframe.
Do you offer CPR and BLS certification?
Yes. We provide CPR, BLS, First Aid, and AED training through the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC), depending on the course selected.
